Police officers in Petrovići, Nikšić municipality, controlled a passenger motor vehicle owned by a rent-a-car agency from Bar, operated by F. G. (29), a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, with a temporary stay in Budva.
"The control determined that in addition to F. G., There were five other persons in the vehicle who did not have personal documents with them and who were identified after being brought to the official premises as: D. M. A. (36), A. M. (30), F. A. (37), A. E. (36) and D. M. (30), citizens of Afghanistan,” the police said.
After the collected information and criminal processing, it was determined that the Turkish citizen F. G., as it is suspected, intended to transport the said group of migrants from Spuž to the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, for a monetary amount of 500 euros, and to illegally transport them from Montenegro to Bosnia and Herzegovina on footpaths, bypassing border crossings and police controls.
According to the order of the state prosecutor at the basic state prosecutor's office in Niksic, F. G. was deprived of Liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal crossing of the state border and human smuggling, and ordered to temporarily confiscate the vehicle he drove at the time of the event.
” Today, along with a criminal complaint, the appointee will be brought to the basic state prosecutor's office in Niksic for further treatment, " the police concluded.
