Milorad Dodik, speaking from the podium in Banja Luka, says that even in Israel they believe that the violation of the Dayton Agreement is unacceptable, that it no longer exists, that it does not deserve any attention, and that the Republika Srpska must be repositioned through understanding in important places in the world.
The Dayton Agreement, he reiterates, has been degraded and rendered meaningless by the interventions of the High Representative and the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH.
"For both the government and the opposition to come together and for us to exit the Dayton Agreement and return to the state of the Republic that existed before the signing of Dayton because we lost everything in Dayton, the army, the border police, indirect taxes, they imposed a prosecutor's office on us, they imposed a court, an intelligence service. That must be returned if you want to persuade us to give up the path of self-determination, at least for the time being," says Milorad Dodik, president of the SNSD.
Dodik warns that they will not get the Bosnia and Herzegovina they envisioned by dispossessing Republika Srpska.
They tried, he says, to discredit the office of president through a court process, imposed early elections, and went so far as to seize the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church and put Serbs on trial for raising three fingers.
"The Court and the Prosecutor's Office are a noose around the neck of the Serbian people and the Republika Srpska. I call on all Serbs in the RS and the Federation of BiH to unite in a united front," Dodik says.
"I propose that we come together, oppose Sarajevo, oppose the court, move towards our greater autonomy and move towards our independence. If the UN Secretary General says that Greenland has the right to self-determination, then RS also has the right to self-determination," Dodik added.
Tomorrow, Dodik will travel to Hungary for a meeting with Viktor Orban, he is planning to meet with the President of Serbia, and on Monday he will travel to the USA at the invitation of a congressman for a prayer breakfast.
He will return before the elections, when he says he will announce some new things.
